After a rough patch in March, I’m happy to say April was an improvement. I hit both of my challenges and enjoyed my book selections more. April means the start of camping season for my family, with lots or reading and hammock time for me! And the new release by Abby Jimenez, Just for the Summer was my favorite book of the month.

The focus for my April reading goals, was two cozy mysteries and one Jane Austen retelling towards my category challenge, and a book published in 2015 for the ICYMI challenge. After I DNF two cozy mysteries, I went with Meagan’s suggestion on Legends & Lattes. I’m so glad because it definitely helped me get back into tackling my challenges.

In May, I plan to read one more Jane Austen retelling, a book published in 2016, and two new selections from my list for the categories challenge. I also have several “required” readings for book clubs and a planned joint RBF book review. Looks to be busy!
