Top Ten Covers with Our Favorite Colors

This week for TTT we’re sharing our Top Ten Covers with our Favorite Colors. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl with a new prompt each week. This week’s prompt is Books with My Favorite Color on the Cover. Because, when you’re judging books by their covers, if your favorite color is present that makes it more fun!

Top Ten Tuesday Covers with Favorite Colors. Book cover Art for The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.
Book cover art for Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.
Top Ten Tuesday Covers with Favorite Colors. Book cover art for You May Now Kill the Bride by Kate Weston.

Obviously, my favorite color is red, specifically bright red. I love all of these covers because of the addition of black alongside the red.

I’ve read some of these and even completed a review for The Handmaid’s Tale. If you haven’t read Vicious (andVengeful the sequel) you should – they’re so good.

Book cover art for The Radium Girls by Kate Moore.
Top Ten Tuesday Covers with Favorite Colors. Book cover art for Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson.

For me, it’s green covers. Doesn’t matter if it’s a soft green or bright green, any shade will do. I’m definitely drawn to covers with prominent green designs.

I’ve read each of the books, several of them this year. Tress of the Emerald Sea fulfilled one of my 2024 Reading Challenge categories.

  3. Green is my favorite color, but I also really love read. Green is soft and soothing. Red is bright and cheery. Both are so lovely 🙂
