Top Ten Tuesday – Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl with a new prompt each week. This week’s Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books on My Winter TBR.

For this prompt, we each selected books we plan to read in December 2024 and the first quarter of 2025. What books are you excited to read this winter?

Alyssa

The Young and Yarros books will be detailed in my birthday book haul post later this month. They both release in January and I’m excited to read them (although I’ll need a refresher on the first two Fourth Wing books). The other three books I currently have on hold from the library and should be ready in the next 4-6 weeks. They have pretty long wait times, so I definitely need to read them when they come available.

A Sea of Unspoken Things by Adrienne Young
Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros. Top Ten Tuesday Winter TBR.
The Life Impossible by Matt Haig. Top Ten Tuesday Winter TBR.
The Book Swap by Tessa Bickers
The Love of My Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood. Top Ten Tuesday Winter TBR.
Meagan

My goal for 2025 is to not buy as many books (Alyssa is going to help keep me accountable, right Alyssa?). I own (or have preordered) all but the Jodi Picoult book – which I have on hold with Libby. So, my TBR is specifically tailored for books I own, will own, or that are available from my library.

This is a great genre variety as well which continue to be a goal of mine in 2025. Alyssa and I are also planning an RBF Review for Book Swap.

The Book Swap by Tessa Bickers
Deep End by Ali Hazelwood

I hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you.

  4. I have Matt Haig’s book on hold through my library. It should be available next week or so. I hope I enjoy it as much as the other two of his books I’ve read.
